That's riiiight!!!!! Today is my birthdayyyyy! Not that I'm excited about it or anything...
I saw Lucia di Lammermoor with Diana Damrau last night with some of my friends to celebrate. I might actually be the first girl to ever have her birthday party at the Metropolitan Opera. Thank you, Peter Gelb!!! Hahaha.
I will have to talk about the epic-ness (aka beastliness) of Lucia another time, because I'm awfully busy right now!!!! Go Diana Damrau!!!! =)

I've read your blog a couple of times, and I gotta say, it is SO GOOD to know that I'm not the only teenager (and a guy, mind you) who is possessed by the Met Opera. If only I lived in NY -- you are a lucky one!

Don't worry, Anonymous #2, you are not the only opera-possessed teenager out there! I am living proof of that. =) I always remind myself that I am very lucky to live near one of the (if not THE) greatest opera houses in the world. However, there are fabulous houses everywhere!
